New in Credit Khata: payments, disputes, reminders and more
Credit Khata now helps settle the ledger, not just keep it: customers pay by wallet and tap I've paid, confirm or dispute entries, and get one-tap reminders, with limits and more.

On this page
Credit Khata started as one shared credit ledger: the shop writes the entry, the customer reads the same record on their phone. This release helps settle that ledger too. Customers can pay you by JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or bank straight from their account and tap I've paid; you confirm it in one tap and it is written for you. Customers can confirm or dispute any entry with a note. Due dates line up late payers for one-tap WhatsApp reminders, and credit limits warn before a sale goes too far. Stock, reports, staff roles and more come with it.
It is all in the counter app on the web and in the Android app. Nearly all of it works on every plan, including Free; staff logins are part of Pro.
Customers pay you directly, on the record
Add the ways you take money under Payment details: in Pakistan, JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast, SadaPay, NayaPay or a bank IBAN, with a QR code if you have one. Shops in other countries see their own options, such as bKash and Nagad, UPI or M-Pesa.
When a customer taps Pay on their account, they see your account names and numbers with a Copy button, pay in their own app, and tap I've paid with the amount and the transaction ID. The claim arrives in your Payments inbox. Check your account and tap Confirm payment, and the payment is written on their account with the method and reference. If the money is not there, reject it with a reason the customer can read.

Nothing passes through Credit Khata: the money goes straight to you, so there is no cut. How to set it up: Add your JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank details so customers can pay you and Confirm a payment a customer says they made.
Every entry, checked
Each entry on a customer's account now has Looks right and Report a problem. A customer who spots a mistake writes a short note on that exact line. You see it flagged on their ledger and on your dashboard, correct your ledger if they are right, and resolve it with a reply they can read. A dispute never changes an entry by itself; your ledger stays your record, and the conversation is kept beside it.

More in When a customer disputes an entry: check, correct and resolve.
Due dates and one-tap reminders
Give a customer a Pay by date. Once it passes and they still owe, they appear under Reminders → Overdue. Tap Remind all and go through the list: each reminder opens WhatsApp or SMS on your own phone with the name, the balance, the due date and a one-time link to their account already written. You press send.
Owners and managers can write their own reminder wording, in any language, with placeholders for the name, shop, balance, due date and link. On Free and Pro, reminders always go from your own phone, in your name; automatic SMS and WhatsApp messages are part of the Business plan.
Step by step: Send payment reminders on WhatsApp or SMS.
Credit limits that speak up
Set the most a customer may owe. When a credit sale would go past it, the counter stops and asks. The owner or a manager can go over it deliberately; a cashier cannot. The customer sees their limit and how much is left on their own account. Limits and due dates are set together from the Limits button on the customer's page.
And the rest of the shop
- Products and stock. Add products with prices, barcodes and stock counts; scan barcodes with the camera; each sale takes items off the count; Low stock shows what to reorder.
- Say it instead of typing it. Tap Speak, say the item and price, and check the line before you save.
- Expenses and suppliers. Record rent, bills and wages, and what you owe each supplier.
- Reports. A cash book, old dues grouped by age, sales by day or month with top customers and items, and an estimated profit.
- Staff roles. Separate logins for managers and cashiers, each pinned to one branch (adding staff logins is part of Pro).
- Statements and receipts. A customer's full statement to print or save as PDF, and receipts for small 58 mm and 80 mm printers.
- Security. Two-step sign-in by email for the owner, a list of signed-in devices, a PIN or fingerprint app lock on Android, and a download of all your data.
Who can use what

A back office in your pocket
In the Android app, the Home screen puts what is waiting first: under Needs you, chips such as Payments to confirm and Disputed entries show a count and open the list. Below them sit up to eight shortcuts you pin yourself, and All tools lists everything else, including Payments, Disputes, Overdue, Products, Expenses, Suppliers and Reports, with a search box.
How to get it
- Counter app: open ck.abdohoo.app/pos-pwa. When a new version is ready, it offers Update now.
- Android: update Credit Khata from Google Play. It needs Android 8.0 or newer.
- Customers do not need to do anything. The Pay button and entry checks appear on their account.
Customers reading their own account never pay. As before, the counter keeps working when the internet drops, and every screen is available in Urdu and many other languages, with Urdu, Arabic and Persian laid out right to left.
